Very good Doctor always make sure my needs are met

Dr Elder is always through and make sure you are taken care of. He always addresses any concerns. Very helpful and I will always recommend him to everyone

Wait time to long

The extensive testing process was quite impressive. Very professional and covered every aspect of cardiovascular health. Was completed in a very timely fashion and uncovered a few abnormalities to be watched and monitored which I was unaware of previously. We now have a baseline from which to work to help ensure better health as I traverse into old age! Great visit, no hurry, answered all questions prudently and thoroughly. Very happy with this practice.

Everyone is so nice and professional from the time you get there till you leave. Dr.Tamam is the the guy you need for your cardiologist.

First and foremost I didn't have to wait long to be seen. All the staff were very pleasant as well as Dr. Elder, as usual he was Kind and easy to talk to. All in all everything went well.

Dr elder is such a caring doctor he listens to me and he answers all my questions effectively.

I am to have surgery in a week. At the last minute, my primary said I needed cardiac clearance. Dr Mohamad and his team went out of their way to give it to me. I hadn’t seen him in a year but he still took good care of me. Thank you.

Arrived early for my appointment, waited for an hour after appt. time then had to leave for another appointment. This happens all the time, especially when the doctor is involved and it's not just testing. Feels more like a production facility than a doctors office.

It’s took 8 phone calls and 6 weeks to get a prescription pre approve Daya at the Dearborn office was the only one who knew what she was doing She was an absolute excellent employee perhaps she should train the others The girl at the preapproval office at the Southfield office was rude spoke over me was of no assistance and insisted she been there 3 years and knew how BCBS worked and would not call the toll free number to talk to BCBS ASSISTANT to help straighten out the mess

Addendum to previous review. There were lots of Black people being seen at this Dearborn facility. Did not see a single Black person on staff. It may not matter to some but I believe your staff should reflect the people you serve.

Went to facility with my sister following a serious injury. I acted as my sister’s advocate as she was still not 100%. A series of tests were ordered to rule out heart strain issues and address severe edema. The full list of medications she was taking was given to medical assistant and resident physician. Presumably the list was reviewed by the physician. We went to St. John’s Hospital with a referral to address the edema, waited for 9 hours without medical care, called the vascular institute answering service for the on call doctor 3 times. NEVER received a call back. Ended up leaving without being seen. Finally reviewed list of meds & googled ones I didn’t know. The point was to see what type of diuretic sister was taking to address edema. To my profound disappointment, there was not a single diuretic in her list of meds. How did 3 medical professionals review that list and not note that maybe a diuretic like Lasix would help reduce water retention. Ended up calling college roommate who is a nephrologist, she reviewed the list of meds & told us to follow up with primary care doc for prescription. My sister has been taking the Lasix for just one day and has dropped 3 pounds of water weight. That was a rookie mistake on the institute’s so called premium doctors. Leaving this review on Google and Yelp too. Patients beware!

Was told that the test could be done right away. 4 hours later was told that patients with appointments would be taken first If we had known that in the first place would have made an appointment and come back another day

It was OK. Dr. Elder seemed to be in a rush. The Blood Pressure Tablet only worked one day. I'm waiting for a tech to let me know how to get a new tablet.

All of techs that conducted the tests were very good and nice. Dr Kaki was professional and polite. But the office area itself was not good. There was mold on the ceiling vent in the exam room. Dirty ceiling tiles, holes in walls. Dr Kaki kept me waiting for over an hour with no explanation.

On my first visit, I anticipated to have a long wait although I had an appointment because the scheduler told me she was squeezing me in. I waited no longer than 30 minutes. The staff was professional and courteous. Dr. Mohamad greeted me by name and reviewed my ailment. He was attentive and compassionate.

My last visit was awesome. I had an ultrasound. The technician was very friendly. She was happy to start her day being able to see "clear" pictures of my heart. I made her morning and she made mine. The process was not long. I love early appointments. I can get in and out of the office. Also, the prior appointment was cool with Dr. Tamam over Google Duo. The same process was followed as being in the office, the only difference was that he couldn't listen to my heart with the stethoscope.

They are the most professional people I've ever experienced in any medical facility.

Testing on time and very easy

Initial consult was great. Follow needs ALOT of work. Test done, needed to see doctor, no one there. No one on stand by to call. No one to consult or order meds. It's 48 hours later and a student took a message. Terrible and scary.

In early February, Dr. Elder saved my life for the 2nd time (The first time was in November 2015 when he removed PE's from my lungs.). He got me transferred to Beaumont Hospital in a timely fashion into their Cath Lab while it was still possible to successfully implant a stent into my heart's main artery. Thus, Dr. Elder managed my heart attack without resorting to open heart surgery. Dr. Elder: thank you.
