Meet Ali Huda

Ali Huda, MD, is an interventional cardiologist practicing at Heart & Vascular Institute, which has locations in Wayne, Dearborn, Detroit, and Southfield, Michigan. 

Dr. Huda was born and raised in Mississauga, Ontario, Canada. After completing medical school, he started his internal medicine residency at a community hospital in Cincinnati, Ohio. During his training, he was selected as a chief medical resident in his final year and graduated winning the award for the best performing resident. With a keen interest in cardiology, he was able to secure and successfully complete fellowship training at the University of Cincinnati. There, he specialized further in interventional cardiology, being able to perform coronary, peripheral vascular, and some structural interventions. 

Dr. Huda is board-certified in general cardiology, interventional cardiology, echocardiography, cardiac CT, and peripheral vascular interpretation. 

Outside of medicine, he enjoys traveling and spending time with his family. His other achievements include owning two cats and being married for six years.
