Dr. Tamam Mohamad | Detroit Cardiologist

Dr. Mohamad is a fellowship-trained interventional cardiologist from Wayne State University. He received his medical degree in 2003 from Damascus University’s School of Medicine and completed his Internal Medicine Residency and his cardiology fellowship at Wayne State University / Detroit Medical Center.
Dr. Mohamad specializes in internal medicine, cardiology, interventional cardiology and cardiovasculargenetic disorders. He is board certified with the American Board of Internal Medicine and holds specialty certification in interventional cardiology, cardiovascular medicine, internal medicine, echocardiography, nuclear cardiology and vascular ultrasound. He also received his board certification in Cardiovascular Computed Tomography in 2012.
Dr. Mohamad was named Best Fellow of the Year in the Internal Medicine and Cardiology Department at Wayne State University in 2009, for excellence in patient care and medical education. In 2012, Dr. Mohamad was voted by his peers as an Hour Top Docs health care leader.
