CCVVC: Complex Coronary Valvular & Vascular Cases

The primary focus of this course is to present a multi-device approach to complex revascularization of patients with complex coronary, structural heart and endovascular disease. Various novel interventional devices such as transcatheter aortic-valve replacement (TAVR) and newer techniques such as retrograde CTO recanalization and dedicated bifurcation stenting will be demonstrated using live case presentations as a platform for discussion by the operators, panelists and audience. The program is complemented by unbiased commentary of live cases by world renowned experts and discussions intended to bring out general consensus regarding the most effective appropriate strategy that you can apply immediately in your practice.

64th Annual Scientific Session & Expo

The ACC (American College of Cardiology) hosted its 64th Annual Scientific Session & Expo this weekend in San Diego, California. Dr Elder, Dr. Mohamad and Dr. Kaki were invited to co-chair and present on an expert panel at this conference. Tamam Mohamad presented on "Acute DVT Intervention", Mahir Elder on "Catheter Based Therapy for Acute Massive PE" and Amir Kaki "Image guided atherectomy".

LINC Conference 2015

DMC Doctors Dr. Mahir Elder (Director of Endovascular Medicine and Dr. Amir Kaki (Medical Director of the Cardiac Cath Lab) presented at an international conference, LINC 2015, in Germany this week. Dr. Elder presented on the groundbreaking Pulmonary Embolism program and Dr. Kaki on limb salvage.
