Dr. Amir Kaki | Cardiologist
Dr. Amir Kaki joined the practice after serving as an Assistant Professor of Medicine in the Greenberg Division of Cardiology at Weill Cornell Medical School at New York Presbyterian Hospital in New York City. After completing his residency in internal medicine at the University of Tennessee, he joined the department of medicine as a full-time faculty member.
He then completedhis cardiology fellowship at the University of Arizona where he was selected as chief fellow. Dr. Kaki’s training led him to New York City, where he completed a two-year fellowship in coronary, endovascular and carotid intervention at Lenox Hill Hospital under the tutelage of Professor Gary Roubin.
My goal is to provide the highest quality of life-altering and often life-saving care — to improve the overall health of all my patients.
Dr. Kaki’s area of expertise includes complex coronary intervention, chronic total occlusions, transradial intervention, and carotid artery stenting. Dr. Kaki’s clinical research activities have been published in peer-reviewed journals and he is frequently a speaker at numerous national meetings. Dr. Kaki currently serves as an Assistant Clinical Professor of Medicine at Wayne State School of Medicine.
Dr. Kaki is board certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Medicine, Interventional Cardiology, Endovascular Medicine, Nuclear Cardiology, Echocardiography, and Vascular Medicine. He is also fluent in Spanish
